UTI TOP 100 Mutual Fund
The equity market is largely driven by Large Cap Companies / stocks. Such companies / stocks are collectively safer and provide greater scope of wealth creation, leadership position and liquidity at ease. They have potential to generate above average growth in earnings, cash flows and ability to withstand the market cycles. They have a large shareholder base and command valuation premium.
UTI Top 100 Fund is one of the funds which is based on principle of large cap investing.
| Fund's Investment strategy: |
- To actively pursue derivative strategies to hedge against volatility and enhance returns
- To build a long term growth portfolio - large caps by their nature have a longer and sustainable growth cycle.
- “Star Fund House of the Year - Equity” award (ICRA) bestowed on UTI Mutual Fund is an evidence of fund management capability.
With Govt stimulus package across economies, we have started seeing some positive signals. The recent market rally and changing investor's sentiment bode well for equity investment. India 's dependence on domestic consumption makes it stands apart compared to others in league that rely on export driven economy model. The strong gross domestic savings rate and positive infrastructure spending outlook (outstanding project investment) augur well for growth. We are poised to take good benefit of this and build a long term portfolio. Overall, due to large cap orientation the fund is positioned to take advantage of strong macro economic fundamentals.
